When I started working on my Doctorate in Trombone Performance at West Virginia University I needed a new tenor trombone. I tried every popular brand that I could and nothing felt, or sounded, the way I wanted it to. One day, while visiting a music store, I played an intermediate model Jupiter and instantly fell in love with it. I was finally able to move my air without feeling restricted. It was responsive and bold. As with any good relationship, the Jupiter trombone just made sense. Within the next two years I was playing on exclusively XO and Jupiter trombones for my tenors and bass. XO works for me. They’re products are reliable and built to last.
